Americans can go to Costa Rica fairly cheaply, since there is no extremely long flight. Even Argentina is less expensive to fly to than some of the countries in the Eastern Hemisphere. Dubai, of course, offers the most extravagant surroundings for the people who get cosmetic surgery abroad for reasons other than the price.

In the last five years, medical tourism to India from foreign countries around the globe, including the US, went from 150,000 to 500,000 per year. It is the same story for all the Third World countries that offer safe and successful cosmetic surgery at lower prices.
