But, as long as cosmetic surgeries exist, there will be those opposed to its very nature.

Lastly, there is the laser form of cosmetic surgery. This is the most popular option when it comes to using cosmetic surgery to remove tattoos. The way it works is that a laser sends light to break up the ink that is found underneath the skin. When the ink is broken up it gets 'eaten' by white blood cells sent through your immune system as a response to the whole process. The downside to the laser form of cosmetic surgery is that some colors might be more difficult to remove than others. Even if the laser can remove the initial tattoo, some of the colors might still remain. This form of cosmetic surgery may also cause blisters and scabs once the procedure is finished.

In conclusion, the main types of cosmetic surgery you may have to choose from include: excision, dermabrasion/salabrasion and laser. Of these options for cosmetic surgery, more than likely you'll be using laser, though you won't know for sure until you get evaluated by a plastic surgeon. If you decide that you do not want to go through either of these procedures, you could keep your tattoo as it is or try to cover it up with another tattoo.
