This type of cosmetic surgery is done with the incisions under the chin or inside the mouth, as the others are done. The difference is that the bones of the face are repositioned to make the chin look more attractive.
After this cosmetic surgery, there will be some healing time. Your doctor will put a dressing on the stitches. You will not be able to eat normally for a few days. You will notice some tightness or swelling at first. You may have to limit your physical activity for a few weeks. Soon, though, you will be fully recovered and ready to face the world, with your chin up.
